I reserved Sims 3 through work today, and since I have a discount I was able to get the Collector's Edition. Working for a game store is amazing at times like these. ^_^

Can't wait for the game, I know that there are a few people that have issues with it. But I'm keeping positive and thinking only on the good changes. It also helps that I have been able to read almost all the creators that went to EA's camp back in January, on what they learned would be in store for us in the future for the Sims 3.

I've only been playing the Sims 2 for three years now, so I don't know much on how long it took for custom content to get where it is now. But I have heard people say that it took a while. Which is good because . . . I have a problem with downloading too much CC! And I wouldn't mind buying from the SimsStore as long as it wasn't too expensive.

Besides I mostly play to see my Sims grow and create relationships. Which might be why I'm so excited for Sims 3, with the traits and the change of how their moods work. Because face it I can't stand that I have to focus all the things I want to do on if my Sim needs to eat or pee! Sleep I can deal with, but the constant need to pee and shower drives me nuts.

Could go on and on, over just what I'm excited about, but we'll wait until I get to play. Even decided to share the sims I make later on. My sims always make beautiful babies.
